Here is an all time classic video clip of some very difficult tap dancing just before color movies came out with Fred Astaire at his best.
I started to dance late in my life at the age of 35. The few years that I did dance I found out I was given talent. Dancing is something I can take or leave. I could of course teach and pursue a career in dance, compete and preform, although I am not the type to have any type of career, according to the world’s perception of what a career is suppose to be.
During this time I studied the movies of Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, and Fred Astaire. Gene Kelly is the most inspirational song and dance person-which I learned a lot from his style. Fred Astaire is next in line with his ballroom style of dance. These were men of class.
The MGM movies of the 1940’s and 50’s may be kind of corny when it came to the plot of the movie. Although one thing about those movies is that they are wholesome; along with the best song and dance preformances a person will ever see on film.
